As a bass player for over 30 years I was always searching for an instrument that suits me the best. I had a huge collection of very nice basses and guitars but there was always something missing. Than I got an idea to try to build one bass for myself. I was very satisfied with my first build even though it was not built from the best wood and I did it with only hand tools. I realize that I can do it. After the first one was another one, much better and I started to learn more, to research about the wood, sound, electronics etc. I wanted to build more and more and than decided to start building guitars for other people. Feedback from musicians playing my basses and guitars made me very happy and gave me a strength to continue.

    All RISTIC basses and guitars are handmade, built from a selected wood. In my opinion the most important part of a guitar is the neck so all RISTIC guitar necks are laminated, with two way truss rod and with two carbon fiber or titanium rods for extra stability. For all RISTIC guitars and basses I install STAINLESS STEEL medium size frets. All that, laminated neck, reinforce rods and stainless steel frets gives a lot of sustain to a tone. 

    Zero fret gives a perfect action in a part of fretboard where the most playing is done.

My favorite finish is oil which gives me an extra feeling of wood. Selection of pickups and electronics gives more personality to an instrument.
